"Persephone's Call": Jasmine, Pomegranate
"Persephone's Call": Jasmine, Pomegranate
Goddess of spring, Queen of the Underworld, symbol of a duality between light and darkness, Persephone offers us the very example of the complexity of a being. 🥀
Daughter of Demeter, Greek goddess of seasons and agriculture, she falls in love with Hades, god of the Underworld. She embraces this dark side of herself, without renouncing her light. She will reign over the Underworld six months of the year, and will return to Earth each spring, making dormant nature bloom and reuniting with her beloved mother until the end of summer.
Through her ambivalence, Persephone strengthens us in respect, kindness, and indulgence towards each of our traits, however complex they may be.
The "Persephone's Call" collection, both poetic and floral, but also dark and deep, is part of this approach. Combining the fragrances of jasmine flowers and pomegranate, a symbol of fertility, love, and resurrection, the candles of this collection are decorated with sunny days flowers, rosebuds and spikes placed in the shape of a crown, obsidian stone chips, and last but not least, a garnet stone, closely linked to Persephone, a stone of strength, courage, and assurance. 🖤
