"First Buds": Vanilla, Cherry Blossom

The earth awakens, the animals emerge, the leaves unfurl, the buds burst open. It's a new birth for nature. 🌸
The spring equinox celebrates the arrival of warmer weather, so eagerly awaited during the winter, but also this new birth of life, the promise of another year.

The ancient Celtic peoples called it Ostara. Even today, its celebration is widespread, in the form of a sabbat, or under different names, on March 21st or the nearest full moon.
In Greek mythology, the goddess Demeter, goddess of agriculture and the seasons, made the earth bloom every spring for the return of her daughter Persephone, who came back from the underworld once a year.

The "First Buds" candles are linked to these celebrations.
Combining the gentleness of cherry blossom with the sweetness of vanilla, they are decorated with pastel-toned flowers, as well as rose quartz stones, for a sense of calm and femininity. Finally, each one contains small sculpted clay eggs, symbols of fertility, birth, and renewal.
